Hi Laurie,

First of all a big thank you to everyone who helped contribute towards the 2023 CAMRA Bristol Beer Festival, which finished yesterday. Without the hard work put in by a lot of unpaid CAMRA volunteers to organise, set up, run and then take down the event there would be no festival. It actually closed on Sunday evening with a great range of 50 real ales and 13 ciders still available.

Following the festival our next branch get together is on Wednesday 22 November, when we are holding a Meet and Greet social at the Lyons Den micropub, 121 Regent St, Kingswood, Bristol BS15 8LJ from 7:30pm. The plan is then to move onto the nearby Kings Arms (16 High Street, Kingswood, BS15 4AB) around 8:45pm. Some bus options are the numbers 6, 42 and 43 from Bristol, 17 from Keynsham or Southmead Hospital, or 19 from Bath or Bristol Parkway Station. All are welcome, whether CAMRA members or not.
